Narrative:

I was given a clearance to line up and wait on runway 23 at naples airport which I did! After I was in position to take off I was ask[ed] to call the tower and given a number to do so. I would never line up and take off without a tower clearance; period! I told them to check the tape and they said they did and said I took off without a clearance! I then repeated several times I was given a clearance to line up and wait; is on the tape! My wife was with me and also heard the line up and wait clearance. I would not taxi on to an active runway without a clearance!
