Narrative:
I made a normal landing at my home base, N50. After a rollout of approximately 320' the left wheel and axle departed the aircraft. The left landing gear impacted the sod runway for approximately 35' before it broke free from the aircraft fuselage. The aft suffered damage to propeller, nacelle area, landing gear free and lower right wing panel. Neither pilot nor passenger were hurt. This incident was reported to the phl FAA.

Title: AEROBATIC SMA BIPLANE ON LNDG ROLLOUT LOSES LEFT WHEEL AND GROUND-LOOPS CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE.
Narrative: I MADE A NORMAL LNDG AT MY HOME BASE, N50. AFTER A ROLLOUT OF APPROX 320' THE LEFT WHEEL AND AXLE DEPARTED THE ACFT. THE LEFT LNDG GEAR IMPACTED THE SOD RWY FOR APPROX 35' BEFORE IT BROKE FREE FROM THE ACFT FUSELAGE. THE AFT SUFFERED DAMAGE TO PROP, NACELLE AREA, LNDG GEAR FREE AND LOWER RIGHT WING PANEL.
