Taxi out from regional airport. On taxiway charlie to runway; while enroute right brake failed. Aircraft drifted to the left onto the grass. Shutdown aircraft and contact tower to let them know; rescue trucks arrived to help push airplane back onto pavement. Tow tug arrived and tug back to maintenance hangar for repair.
