Narrative:
Antiskid inop light illuminated during climb. Recent maintenance history included antiskid system maintenance. Consulted MEL and QRH. MEL prohibits dispatch to runway less than 7000 ft.; although that did not preclude us from continuing to sna; where the runway is less than 6000 ft. Noticed that the brake pressure gauge reading had decreased to 2500 psi from a normal 3000 psi. After consulting with dispatch; I decided that the safest course of action would be to continue and divert to [a larger airport] due to my lack of understanding the problem completely. Normal; uneventful landing [followed].
