Narrative:
This pilot, employed by a 135 on demand operator, was assigned to fly a trip for a regional scheduled 135 commuter air carrier. The flight originated at an uncontrolled airfield and terminated at a TCA primary airport 75 mi away. Upon arrival this pilot was ramp-checked by an FAA inspector who was himself not sure of the legality of the following items: my lack of training by the commuter air carrier, my lack of IOE by the commuter air carrier, my carrying of their ticketed passenger, and my use of their canned flight plan/call sign my lack of their company operations manual (I had may company's manual). I have been unable to locate in the far's any regulations relating to the above questions, nor have my company's superiors or our local FAA FSDO been able to ascertain if a 135 charter operator can fly a trip for a commuter air carrier (regional airline). From our standpoint this was an on-demand flight we having been called 5 hours previously. I met my company's operating requirements.
