Narrative:
Las was landing runway 1. Wind was reported on approach as '050 at 12' by tower. Captain asked for runway 25. Tower said, 'are you sure?' captain said yes. I said, 'are you sure that's not more than a 10 KT tailwind.' he said, 'if not, it's close--and we're light anyway.' on final approach to runway 25, tower called out wind at '040 at 12.' upon landing I pulled out crosswind chart. It showed we had an actual tailwind of 10.1 KTS, .1 KT over the limit. Nothing will probably come of this, but I thought I'd send a NASA form in anyway. Since we were on approach, the wind was close to the limit, I felt it more prudent not to debate it under those conditions. I did get the captain to agree that if the wind was reported more unfavorable than 050 at 12 at anytime during the approach, we would go around.

Title: ACR LGT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE EXCEEDED DOWNWIND LNDG LIMIT.
Narrative: LAS WAS LNDG RWY 1. WIND WAS RPTED ON APCH AS '050 AT 12' BY TWR. CAPT ASKED FOR RWY 25. TWR SAID, 'ARE YOU SURE?' CAPT SAID YES. I SAID, 'ARE YOU SURE THAT'S NOT MORE THAN A 10 KT TAILWIND.' HE SAID, 'IF NOT, IT'S CLOSE--AND WE'RE LIGHT ANYWAY.' ON FINAL APCH TO RWY 25, TWR CALLED OUT WIND AT '040 AT 12.' UPON LNDG I PULLED OUT XWIND CHART. IT SHOWED WE HAD AN ACTUAL TAILWIND OF 10.1 KTS, .1 KT OVER THE LIMIT. NOTHING WILL PROBABLY COME OF THIS, BUT I THOUGHT I'D SEND A NASA FORM IN ANYWAY. SINCE WE WERE ON APCH, THE WIND WAS CLOSE TO THE LIMIT, I FELT IT MORE PRUDENT NOT TO DEBATE IT UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS. I DID GET THE CAPT TO AGREE THAT IF THE WIND WAS RPTED MORE UNFAVORABLE THAN 050 AT 12 AT ANYTIME DURING THE APCH, WE WOULD GO AROUND.
