Narrative:

I almost caused the gate agent to deploy a slide. After disarming my door and crosscheck the number 3 flight attendant's service door; I armed my door. The agent knocked and I gave thumbs up. As the door cracked I realized the door was armed and yelled for agent to stop. The slide pack came out about a quarter way. Maintenance put the slide back very quickly without incident; and the aircraft continued service. I believe this event occurred for a few reasons. I was worked too many legs and long days straight on reserve; causing me fatigue and lack of alertness. Another reason I believe this occurred is because I was distracted by the number 3 flight attendant who was talking to me when I needed to be focused on disarming and crosschecking the forward doors. I should have just asked her to stop talking to me for a minute.I think in order to avoid this from reoccurring; maybe not give a reserve more than 3 days straight; and have reserve availability periods instead of 24 hours on call. Also banning flight attendant cellphone use in the aircraft would help too; as my number 3 could have caught the fact that I rearmed my door had she been paying attention to me instead of looking down at her phone. At the end of the day; this is all my fault and I accept that. I just feel that if I had more rest and a more experienced flight attendant with me; they would have been able to crosscheck my door properly; and avoid this all together.
