Narrative:
Due to aircraft in front waiting for some reason, tower allowed me to turn around and taxi north on 36 and back-taxi into position on runway 6 (which was my intended runway for departure). As I was beginning to turn from runway 36 to runway 6, my left propeller struck a runway light that was on the concrete at the intersection of runway 36/runway 6. Contributing factor was the placement of this approximately 24' tall light. Most airport have all runway/taxiway lights on the grass. All other lights at alo are also in the grass. This was the only light that was on the concrete portion. During taxi, I was clearing the approachs to runway 6/24 and simply didn't see the light until it was too late. I feel this is an unusual placement for a light, and was not expecting one to be there.
