Narrative:

Our aircraft encountered wake turbulence following a boeing 787 on a visual approach to runway 24R at approximately 2500 ft MSL. Both approach and tower advised our flight of possible wake turbulence. The first officer was flying and followed all recommendations for wake turbulence avoidance. Despite his efforts; the aircraft experienced wake turbulence induced deviations to pitch; roll; and yaw. I reported the wake turbulence encounter to lax tower. The aircraft did not sustain damage; and no injuries occurred to crew or passengers.
