Narrative:
As a user of WX information, I would derive much more usable information from sigmets and region WX synopsis if the geographic descriptions referenced major cities or geographic portions of affected states, instead of VOR facs. I find it difficult to form a mental picture of an 'area from hro to eld to igb to dyr.' it's even more difficult when the broadcast is 'rapid delivery' in an attempted to minimize on the air time. I can derive much more useful information from a description like, 'central and eastern ar, western ky and northern ms.' this is not so much a complaint as it is a constructive request for more user-friendly information. We're on a team effort here, and truly clear text language description would improve usefulness of this important information that the WX folks work so earnestly and intently to provide. I need and appreciate this information--and I would derive more value if the format was changed. The more useful the information we have, the more situationally aware we area--the safer we are!
