Narrative:
At approximately 800' AGL on departure at dfw, the #1 engine fire warning bell and light activate. Captain worked through checklist while I flew aircraft. We advised local control of our situation and desire to return for immediate landing. Local sent us to departure control because we were not visibility at the time. We had been cleared to climb to 10000' with our initial departure clearance. We advised departure of our situation and that we wanted to return for an immediate landing. They turned us right to 270 degrees and asked if we could maintain VFR. We advised we were in and out of the clouds. They told us to maintain 2000' and they would vector us for runway 13R. We were at 2600' MSL at that time. They indicated they had traffic at 3000' in front of us and turned us to 310 degrees. Upon reaching 2000', we were in VMC conditions, and were cleared for a visibility approach to runway 13R. We landed and cleared the runway and asked for a visibility inspection from emergency equipment. We were advised that all appeared normal, and we taxied to gate. Emergency equipment followed us to gate. My concern is about the aircraft at 3000' when we were turned to 270 degrees. We were at 2600' initially and descended back to 2000'.

Title: ENGINE FIRE WARNING AFTER TKOF REQUIRES FLT CREW TO REQUEST EXPEDITED HANDLING FOR RETURN TO LAND AND REPORTER COMPLAINS THAT LOSS OF SEPARATION MAY HAVE OCCURRED WITH OTHER TRAFFIC IN AREA.
Narrative: AT APPROX 800' AGL ON DEP AT DFW, THE #1 ENG FIRE WARNING BELL AND LIGHT ACTIVATE. CAPT WORKED THROUGH CHKLIST WHILE I FLEW ACFT. WE ADVISED LCL CTL OF OUR SITUATION AND DESIRE TO RETURN FOR IMMEDIATE LNDG. LCL SENT US TO DEP CTL BECAUSE WE WERE NOT VIS AT THE TIME. WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO CLB TO 10000' WITH OUR INITIAL DEP CLRNC. WE ADVISED DEP OF OUR SITUATION AND THAT WE WANTED TO RETURN FOR AN IMMEDIATE LNDG. THEY TURNED US RIGHT TO 270 DEGS AND ASKED IF WE COULD MAINTAIN VFR. WE ADVISED WE WERE IN AND OUT OF THE CLOUDS. THEY TOLD US TO MAINTAIN 2000' AND THEY WOULD VECTOR US FOR RWY 13R. WE WERE AT 2600' MSL AT THAT TIME. THEY INDICATED THEY HAD TFC AT 3000' IN FRONT OF US AND TURNED US TO 310 DEGS. UPON REACHING 2000', WE WERE IN VMC CONDITIONS, AND WERE CLRED FOR A VIS APCH TO RWY 13R. WE LANDED AND CLRED THE RWY AND ASKED FOR A VIS INSPECTION FROM EMER EQUIP. WE WERE ADVISED THAT ALL APPEARED NORMAL, AND WE TAXIED TO GATE. EMER EQUIP FOLLOWED US TO GATE. MY CONCERN IS ABOUT THE ACFT AT 3000' WHEN WE WERE TURNED TO 270 DEGS. WE WERE AT 2600' INITIALLY AND DSNDED BACK TO 2000'.
