Narrative:
While talking to the crew chief of automotive I was told he was instructed to calibrate the oil service bowsers used to service engine oil in all aircraft with a paint bucket because they did not have the proper tooling as called out in the repair and inspection manual. They have been doing inspections on this equipment for years how did they do it? And is this going on with other tooling? Like gages torque wenches etc.they do not have the tooling to do this task from my understanding. Do the proper preventative maintenance on our tooling.
