We were being vectored around weather/traffic for the watsn 3 arrival to ord. ATC gave us a clearance to proceed direct to the watsn fix and hold as published. There is no published hold in the ipad jeppesen app or in the FMC. We looked for the hold on the arrival chart; high and low IFR charts. No published hold exists at watsn in our electronic jepp charts or in our FMC database. There is a published hold on the FAA arrival chart; but not on the current jepp arrival chart.
