Narrative:

After checking all maintenance logs and MEL log for open items; I determined the aircraft was airworthy for a dispatched reposition flight. While taxiing and performing a thrust reverser (TR) check; the TR was discovered to have been disabled and placarded inop even though there was no related paperwork for that item. We proceeded with the flight and after landing discovered that the work had been performed but was undocumented maintenance. I alerted our maintenance department to the discrepancy.
