Narrative:
While en route to hailey airport from twin falls, identification, I radioed the hailey tower at the hailey NDB located 10.8 NM southeast. The tower told me to report 1 mi southeast of bellevue. Before reaching bellevue, which is approximately 3 mi southeast of hailey airport, an small aircraft radioed the tower reporting his location as the hailey NDB. That put him 3-4 mi behind us. At 1 mi southeast of bellevue, I reported my location and the tower cleared me for landing at hailey. The tower then radioed the small aircraft and advised him to slow down as he was overtaking us. The small aircraft replied that he was still at the NDB. The tower then tried to make contact with the unknown aircraft. Failing to get a response, the tower advised us to break left. We were approximately 2 1/2 mi southeast of hailey airport over the town of bellevue at 6700' indicated on a bearing of 310 degrees. As my copilot began a left turn, I looked down through the chinbubble and saw an small transport pass directly under us within 100-150'. He was on final approach to the hailey airport! The small transport pilot then came on the radio and stated 'I've been trying to call for 5 mins...' the small transport continued in and landed. We then turned back on course and landed. I went over to where the small transport parked to talk to the pilot but he was nowhere to be found. I then wrote down the north number of the small transport. After the small aircraft landed, I talked to the pilot and he stated that he had not heard any radio xmissions from the small transport either. I called the tower operator by phone and his opinion was that the small transport came too close and that no radio calls were made by the pilot prior to his close flight to us. I feel the pilot of the small transport was operating his aircraft in a careless and reckless manner west/O thought to the safety of others.

Title: CLOSE PROX MIL-HELI GA-SMT IN SUN ATA.
Narrative: WHILE ENRTE TO HAILEY ARPT FROM TWIN FALLS, ID, I RADIOED THE HAILEY TWR AT THE HAILEY NDB LOCATED 10.8 NM SE. THE TWR TOLD ME TO RPT 1 MI SE OF BELLEVUE. BEFORE REACHING BELLEVUE, WHICH IS APPROX 3 MI SE OF HAILEY ARPT, AN SMA RADIOED THE TWR RPTING HIS LOCATION AS THE HAILEY NDB. THAT PUT HIM 3-4 MI BEHIND US. AT 1 MI SE OF BELLEVUE, I RPTED MY LOCATION AND THE TWR CLRED ME FOR LNDG AT HAILEY. THE TWR THEN RADIOED THE SMA AND ADVISED HIM TO SLOW DOWN AS HE WAS OVERTAKING US. THE SMA REPLIED THAT HE WAS STILL AT THE NDB. THE TWR THEN TRIED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE UNKNOWN ACFT. FAILING TO GET A RESPONSE, THE TWR ADVISED US TO BREAK L. WE WERE APPROX 2 1/2 MI SE OF HAILEY ARPT OVER THE TOWN OF BELLEVUE AT 6700' INDICATED ON A BEARING OF 310 DEGS. AS MY COPLT BEGAN A L TURN, I LOOKED DOWN THROUGH THE CHINBUBBLE AND SAW AN SMT PASS DIRECTLY UNDER US WITHIN 100-150'. HE WAS ON FINAL APCH TO THE HAILEY ARPT! THE SMT PLT THEN CAME ON THE RADIO AND STATED 'I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL FOR 5 MINS...' THE SMT CONTINUED IN AND LANDED. WE THEN TURNED BACK ON COURSE AND LANDED. I WENT OVER TO WHERE THE SMT PARKED TO TALK TO THE PLT BUT HE WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. I THEN WROTE DOWN THE N NUMBER OF THE SMT. AFTER THE SMA LANDED, I TALKED TO THE PLT AND HE STATED THAT HE HAD NOT HEARD ANY RADIO XMISSIONS FROM THE SMT EITHER. I CALLED THE TWR OPERATOR BY PHONE AND HIS OPINION WAS THAT THE SMT CAME TOO CLOSE AND THAT NO RADIO CALLS WERE MADE BY THE PLT PRIOR TO HIS CLOSE FLT TO US. I FEEL THE PLT OF THE SMT WAS OPERATING HIS ACFT IN A CARELESS AND RECKLESS MANNER W/O THOUGHT TO THE SAFETY OF OTHERS.
