Narrative:
Taxi clearance was from gate to runway 26 via ramp; H; B and C. I taxied via the taxi lane behind gate X (west of it) northbound. Looking at the jeppesen airport chart 10-9; just south of the arp (airport reference point); between papa and juliet; the taxi line suddenly stopped. Looking ahead about 20 yards; I saw the continuation of the taxi line; so taxiing was no issue as it was clear and daylight. Where this might become as issue is when the visibility is restricted or at night. Please contact the jax airport and have someone paint a continuous taxi line on the ramp.
Original NASA ASRS Text
