Narrative:
The catering truck left the aircraft; but returned shortly thereafter to the forward right door. Per the procedures; the caterer knocked on the door; and instead of waiting for the 'all clear' signal; he started to open the door. Alertly; the flight attendant disarmed the door. If she hadn't; I suspect a slide would have deployed. Caterer did not follow procedures.

Title: A321 Captain reported that a caterer attempted to open the galley service door prior to being cleared to do so.
Narrative: The catering truck left the aircraft; but returned shortly thereafter to the forward right door. Per the procedures; the caterer knocked on the door; and instead of waiting for the 'All clear' signal; he started to open the door. Alertly; the Flight Attendant disarmed the door. If she hadn't; I suspect a slide would have deployed. Caterer did not follow procedures.
