Narrative:
On sun my copilot and I departed bermuda in an light transport jet. Shortly after takeoff (about 10 mins) we lost our long range navigation. Our assigned route was R13 smelt intersection, then AR4 charleston J47 spartanburg J118 nashville. Bermuda VOR was off the air, but the TACAN was working, so we idented priss intersection with ADF from st davids head and TACAN. Our HF also became inoperative and we could hear ny but could not talk to them. We then made our position reports on air-to-air on 130.55 through other aircraft. Then we were told by another aircraft to contact ZJX on 134.25. He then asked us to identify and when we did, ZJX advised that we were 29 mi northeast of smelts intersection in warming area 122J. He then told us to turn to a 200 degree heading. We turned and in about 4 or 5 mins we were back on course and proceeded with no further problems as we were beginning to receive charleston. I believe this situation occurred because of equipment failure.

Title: CPR LTT EXPERIENCES LONG RANGE NAVIGATION AND HF COM FAILURE OUT OF BERMUDA FOR THE MAINLAND AND ENDS UP WITH A TRACK ERROR.
Narrative: ON SUN MY COPLT AND I DEPARTED BERMUDA IN AN LTT JET. SHORTLY AFTER TKOF (ABOUT 10 MINS) WE LOST OUR LONG RANGE NAV. OUR ASSIGNED RTE WAS R13 SMELT INTXN, THEN AR4 CHARLESTON J47 SPARTANBURG J118 NASHVILLE. BERMUDA VOR WAS OFF THE AIR, BUT THE TACAN WAS WORKING, SO WE IDENTED PRISS INTXN WITH ADF FROM ST DAVIDS HEAD AND TACAN. OUR HF ALSO BECAME INOP AND WE COULD HEAR NY BUT COULD NOT TALK TO THEM. WE THEN MADE OUR POS RPTS ON AIR-TO-AIR ON 130.55 THROUGH OTHER ACFT. THEN WE WERE TOLD BY ANOTHER ACFT TO CONTACT ZJX ON 134.25. HE THEN ASKED US TO IDENT AND WHEN WE DID, ZJX ADVISED THAT WE WERE 29 MI NE OF SMELTS INTXN IN WARMING AREA 122J. HE THEN TOLD US TO TURN TO A 200 DEG HDG. WE TURNED AND IN ABOUT 4 OR 5 MINS WE WERE BACK ON COURSE AND PROCEEDED WITH NO FURTHER PROBS AS WE WERE BEGINNING TO RECEIVE CHARLESTON. I BELIEVE THIS SITUATION OCCURRED BECAUSE OF EQUIP FAILURE.
