Taking my airplane up to test the new avionics installed. Upon completion; made a VFR approach to [the] runway. Selected gear down abeam the runway markings; observe a green indicator; added flaps and configured the plane for landing. Upon touchdown the gear collapsed and the plane came to a rest shortly there after.
