Narrative:
Attempted to contact ground and tower for taxi. Received ATIS and broadcast in the clear about taxi intentions with no response. Taxied onto runway and tower contacted me to clear the runway. I complied but was unable to establish communications. I was told to taxi to the ramp and shut down and contact tower which I complied with. Shut down aircraft and found out maintenance had connected pilot headset to copilot position so I could hear all radio communication but was unable to broadcast because copilot push to talk [switch] was not depressed.
