Narrative:
During landing at rnm we were instructed to follow traffic for landing; a high wing aircraft. We called traffic while on downwind leg; abeam the numbers. Turned base and proceeded for landing. During base to final turn another high wing aircraft passed approximately 100 ft below us on final. Performed go around. Informed ATC and he instructed us to turn right downwind. We continued to a safe landing. This is a very busy VFR airport. Remain vigilant in the traffic pattern.
