Narrative:
The taxi chart for klga 10-9 shows taxiway a to be separate from the ramp. In reality it is the outer perimeter of the ramp. The diagram makes it appear when leaving one of the alleys a clearance to taxi on a would be your second left or right turn. During periods of reduced visibility it may be difficult to see airport signage and one could be misled and mistakenly make the turn on B taxiway because that would be the turn after the median.

Title: Air Carrier Captain reported an issue with the charting of a taxiway at LGA.
Narrative: The taxi chart for KLGA 10-9 shows taxiway A to be separate from the ramp. In reality it is the outer perimeter of the ramp. The diagram makes it appear when leaving one of the alleys a clearance to taxi on A would be your second left or right turn.
