Narrative:
Our aircraft was turning into [the gate]. The gate area was confirmed clear by both pilots. As we were halfway through the turn a baggage vehicle pulling one cart aggressively pulled in front of the aircraft requiring us to slam on the brakes. The vehicle was less than 20 ft from the aircraft nose. We told the ramp controller to investigate.
