Narrative:
We had no GPS after takeoff. We received vector to FL220 from ATC. We had no fixes up on the mfd. We received dr greater than 5 minutes messages: 'GPS inop. Check position.' also we had zero fuel on arrival due to the aircraft not knowing its location. We decided to turn back to [departure airport] with vectors from ATC. I was the pilot flying and the first officer ran the QRH to try and solve the problem.
