Narrative:

I noticed a discrepancy between our manuals and the jeppfd pro in our company ipads regarding the special procedures for inflight contingencies in oceanic airspace-atlantic. It appears that the jeppfd pro route-pubs section still has the incorrect (pre 2017) procedures which states 'if prior clearance cannot be obtained; to leave the assigned route or track by initially turning at least 45 degrees to the right or to the left; in order to acquire a same or opposite direction track offset 15 NM (28 km) from the assigned track centerline...' our international operating manual and the north atlantic operations and airspace manual v.2018-1 both have the updated correct procedure which is:'before commencing any diversion across the flow of adjacent traffic or before initiating any turn-back (180deg); aircraft should; while subsequently maintaining a same direction 15 NM offset track; expedite climb above or descent below the vast majority of nat traffic.'jeppfd pro in our company ipads need to be updated to reflect the current and correct procedure to prevent the crews turning 180 degrees if the alternate airport is behind them.
