Narrative:
While enroute via flo at FL190 I looked at my iphone to consult foreflight for some frequency data and noted that the time registered xf:30. My copilot noted the same reading on his iphone. This was strange because it was xa:30. While we were looking at the indications they changed to the correct time.I mention this because:1. We were too high to be receiving signals from the cell system to receive time updates so this data must have been coming from the GPS system.2. There has been an occurrence of GPS signal loss from another pilot in my local area while enroute in day/vfr conditions within the last week.I do not know if the two incidents are related but perhaps the accumulations of events like this will add to the database and help to complete a larger picture.I have experienced GPS signal loss before and the thought of someone interfering with what has become our primary navigational aid deeply concerns me. We have no backup for the GPS system since the eloran project was decommissioned some ten years ago. I believe vehemently that this project should be reactivated and completed to mitigate the vulnerability now present in our GPS system.
