Narrative:
Aircraft X was inbound for a visual approach and requested the arresting gear for landing. I coordinated which runway would be used and if they would be shutting the runway down. The controller noticed the aircraft descending below the minimum vectoring altitude and issued a low altitude alert and a climb. The controller believed he issued 5;000 ft and I could not verify that. I believe he issued the instruction when I was coordinating.
