Narrative:

The cockpit crew was informed by the lead F/a that a 76 year old female passenger was experiencing chest pains, and that she had a known heart condition. Her doctor had told her the previous day that it would be no problem for her to fly. We advised ZFW of the situation and requested expeditious handling to dfw. We also requested that paramedics meet the flight upon arrival. We requested and were granted a high speed descent below 10000' by dfw approach. Controller handling was excellent. The affected passenger was checked upon arrival by the paramedics, and was transported to a local hospital. I contacted the hospital CDT, the evening of the incident, and was informed that the passenger had suffered a mild heart attack, but was in stable condition.
