Narrative:
Trying to find an airfield with fuel. On a flight from 2h2 to apa. First airport was closed for fuel (2h2). We took off for butler airport. It was closed for runway construction. I diverted to miami, ks. It was closed. I diverted to ottawa, ks. It was closed with debris and construction on runway. I turned north and saw an airport which I thought was johnson county. I contacted the tower at 10 mi and they cleared me for a straight in to 35. I was actually lined up with foe. At 5 mi out I was cleared for landing. Because of low fuel I continued my approach and landing to forbes field. Upon landing and taxiing to FBO, I contacted the tower by phone.
