Narrative:
Slick ramp area. Aircraft would not stay on the j-line due to glycol on the painted surface. Only #1 engine running. Tiller could not track the j-line due to nose wheel slippage. Stopped the aircraft and was towed into the gate. Must have been a tail heavy aircraft.

Title: Boeing 737 Captain reported a loss of ability to taxi due to wheel slippage caused by glycol on the tarmac surface.
Narrative: Slick ramp area. Aircraft would not stay on the J-line due to glycol on the painted surface. Only #1 engine running. Tiller could not track the J-line due to nose wheel slippage. Stopped the aircraft and was towed into the gate. Must have been a tail heavy aircraft.
