Narrative:

We were cleared for approach to ILS 16 (G/south, OTS). Put gear down and did checklist. Waiting on green lights for gear, we were on short final. There was no green lights on the right main gear. I told tower I was doing a low pass and ask him if he saw a right main gear out. He said yes but, that didn't mean it was lock. I requested a downwind approach and changed to bulbs. We got 5 green lights. (All down and lock now). I requested a visibility approach. Told tower that everything was all right and we have green indications on all the gear. He (tower) said clear to land the trucks are by the runway waiting. I said we don't need them and didn't declare an emergency. He said I called them out and they are waiting by the runway. Everything was fine. Called company maintenance control made log book entry. Check bulbs and gear. Everything was fine. Next flight flying from bgm to pit. Climbing out, gear up. We heard a popping noise in cockpit. It would pop and the lights, radar, and instruments would flick to off and right back on. The flicking was only twice. The popping noise continued for about 30 mins. During this time all indications were good. (Generators and loads were good). Good WX in pit. Continued and landed. Maintenance grounded the plane. The problem was the plane had been hit by lightning and we didn't know it.
