Narrative:
As I was leaving the eaa annual convention, I was taxiing east from the camping area south of runway 9 for a departure on runway 27. While avoiding hitting parked airplanes, I struck 2-4 metal post that made up a temporary border for the airplanes camping area. I did not notice or feel the plane hit the posts. The posts punctured the skin of the underside of the wing. I did not notice any damage to the leading edge or aileron. As I continued to taxi, I checked for any unusual feel or vibration. The airplane flew normally in every way. I proceeded to des moines, ia, west/O any incident. As soon as I arrived, I notified the FBO and we inspected the damage. After a thorough inspection it was confirmed there was no structural damages. However, the skin of the underside of the wing and aileron were damaged.
