I landed a helicopter in a field adjacent to a residential area in rural haworth, nj, for about 15 to 18 seconds and then departed. Approach and departure were over a wooded area. One of the local residents notified the police.

Narrative: I LANDED A HELI IN A FIELD ADJACENT TO A RESIDENTIAL AREA IN RURAL HAWORTH, NJ, FOR ABOUT 15 TO 18 SECS AND THEN DEPARTED. APCH AND DEP WERE OVER A WOODED AREA. ONE OF THE LCL RESIDENTS NOTIFIED THE POLICE.
