Narrative:
In the descent [when] we saw what looked like an interruption in the electrical system followed by many annunciations illuminating indicating failures. The TR1 light was illuminated and we ran the checklist for that failure. We did start the APU but it would not come on line in the air or on the ground. The ground power would also not come on line on the ground. It appeared that we had lost at a minimum a bus. We landed safely.
