Narrative:
On climb-out from ZZZ; the flight attendant called with a two-chime call. She notified me that a passenger window had cracked and the passengers had relocated seats. We stopped the climb at FL330. At that point; I think our altitude did not capture and went down to FL326. The captain started a phone patch with dispatch and maintenance control. The a flight attendant took a picture and slid it under the flight deck door. Unable to determine the severity of the crack; the captain went back to assess the damage. Upon return; he told me that he could hear wind through the window. He shared that information with dispatch and maintenance control. Over the radio; he was in constant communication with ATC that we were working an issue.at no point did I request priority handling or [advise ATC]. Once the decision was made by dispatch to divert; I requested the diversion with a precautionary landing into ZZZ1. Tower asked if we needed assistance; we declined. Normal approach with gusty winds. Our speed went plus 10 above target. The captain (pilot monitoring) announced correction on speed. I called airspeed; and said the gust was varying the speed +10/-5 of target. Normal landing; rollout and taxi to the gate.
