Narrative:
Aircraft X departed kdtw for kpit using the st. Clair departure; which concludes at maars. After maars; aircraft are instructed per a departure route to fly maars; sphre; aco to keep them away from arrivals to kcle. We have been having trouble with aircraft not flying the correct route. After maars; aircraft X turned right directly toward aco. I read the possible deviation warning to the pilot and cleared them direct to aco. I explained that this had been a recurring problem on the departure; he asked if it was only company X. I said that it wasn't only company X; but that we were working to fix the problem; and that it seemed to be occurring when the route was being placed into the FMS; although I wasn't positive. No separation issues resulted from the actions. [We should] continue to advise pilots departing that route of issues with programming into the FMS or change the SID to include the whole route.
