Narrative:
Received a tnk 1 tip trapped fuel system alert with 7;700 lbs fuel in tank 1 and 21;000 lbs fuel total. Crew determined that there may not be the planned amount of useable fuel available; so minimum fuel was declared and a clearance direct to ZZZ requested. The aircraft was overhead ZZZ1. Soon thereafter; we received a tnk 1 fuel qty lo alert along with the tip trap alert. The amplifying data for the alert stated '5;800 lbs in tip tank is unusable'. Based on our range to ZZZ; we [advised ATC of our] fuel [situation] and received direct to a fix on the ILS to runway 01L.the arrival and approach/landing was uneventful except that we really had no accurate idea how much useable fuel remained. We landed with 17;000 lbs indicated and some quantity unusable due to trapped tip fuel. Center and approach and tower were very helpful in giving us priority handling throughout.
