Narrative:
While approaching pns, I observed a military mlt, white with orange markings, opp direction, pass slightly to the right and above us, (less than 100' vertical and less than 150' horizontal). This took place at xx:37Z, 15 DME north of pns, (pns 111.1 ILS DME), descending through approximately 6500' MSL; our heading was 270 degree; a radar vector assigned by pns 119.0. The controller did not advise us of this traffic. We did not fly an avoidance maneuver, but it appeared the mlt may have.
