Narrative:
I am an instructor sending my student on her second solo. For this lesson they are required to take off; exit the traffic pattern; fly to our practice area; return to airport; and land. After landing the student tried to take the taxiway exit but was travelling too fast and departed the runway striking 2 runway lights. There was cosmetic damage to aircraft and it was subsequently squawked and given to maintenance to inspect.

Title: C152 instructor pilot reported a solo student pilot lost directional control on landing and contacted two runway lights.
Narrative: I am an instructor sending my student on her second solo. For this lesson they are required to take off; exit the traffic pattern; fly to our practice area; return to airport; and land.
