Narrative:
I switched to CTAF (123.075) of tcy as I approached the airport. I was monitoring 121.5 on radio #2. I kept C83 to my right as I crossed the area due to sky divers. I was about 10 miles on the 240 degree radial from sck VOR and something caught my eye to my right and it was two skydivers. I am guessing 1000' away. I turned from a course of 112 to 54 degrees just to add more space and make sure there were no more sky divers. Nothing was on the CTAF at tcy. I was perplexed because the wind was 260@13 kts gusting and could not figure out why the sky divers were there. After my turn northeast...to follow the RNAV GPS26 approach into tcy (VFR). The rest of the flight and landing was uneventful. After landing and further investigation; I assume the divers were coming off of the private field called skydive california. There is no sky diving symbol; but the name of the airport says enough. There is no frequency for that airport. What I will do differently in the future is either get flight following or inquire with approach before going near a skydiving area.
