Narrative:
We heard and felt a loud rumble in the cockpit climbing through FL320 on our way to FL360. The flight attendant (flight attendant) immediately called up asking if we heard the sound and to state 'the cabin is filling with a white mist.' without an ECAM (electronic centralized aircraft monitor); we immediately shut down pack 2 per the [company's] fumes procedure. The flight attendant called back up stating the mist was dissipating but that the rear flight attendant smelled smoke that correlated with a burning wire aroma. We [advised ATC] and initiated a diversion to ZZZ.upon landing in ZZZ; crash and fire rescue inspected the aircraft and found no heat signatures. We taxied to the gate and subsequently deplaned. ZZZ maintenance found the pack 2 acm to have seized up.
