Narrative:

The company's special procedure for sfo runway 1L has a procedure of a right turn to heading 130. This is impractical and dangerous [if] there is an aircraft taking off simultaneously on runway 1R. The 130 heading would take you into that aircraft's flight path; or worse. We discussed that if we had an engine failure we would obviously proceed straight ahead due to the aircraft next to us. In this case; the straight out departure is clearly the safer option but not specified on the company special's procedure. See and avoid works great in VFR. There are unknown threats in the weather.
