Narrative:
Pushed back cleared to taxi 'runway 12, follow the red line, hold short 17.' ATIS had active runway as 4 with departure runway assigned by ground. I answered ground control with, 'roger, follow red line and hold short.' I thought the hold short was for 12 and so did the captain. As we crossed 17 we saw a light plane at the 35 end on final. Tower informed us we were to hold short of 17. I guess it was my fault for not giving a full readback, but ground and tower were combined and very busy. Also, I did not consider 17 an active due to arrs, wind and ATIS.
