Narrative:

This event was a breakdown in crew communication. First officer and captain failed to communicate on ATC clearance. Flight plan was filed from over center to alb, but clearance was issued from center to cam on course. There was also a question of which altitude was assigned (FL230 or FL250). ATC was unsure of altitude. Crew thought it was FL250 but not positive. Both of these events are related due to the fact they occurred at the same time. This situation could have been prevented by better communication between the 2 crew members. Also better communication between crew and ATC.
