Narrative:
I was flying the plane back from berry hill, stockbridge, GA when the plane had some minor repairs, one of which was the yellow in transit light was coming on when it shouldn't. The authority/authorized aircraft mechanic had tested the gears and all looked ok. We were on tower frequency for landing on 20L. Landing gear was put down 5 mi out (tower confirmed afterward that landing gear was down--tower controller as well as the airport manager said gear had obviously been down). All was normal on landing flare, T/D, pwrback, but the nose kept going down. The plane came to stop on runway. Shut off all switches (master), ignition, fuel and left plane. It appears the gear was in place but not locked, however we saw no warning light to that effect. It appears all necessary procedures were done to have a safe landing. No suggestions at this time as to how to prevent recurrence.
