Narrative:

I was flying aircraft. We were cleared for localizer approach runway 29R. I inadvertently failed to turn the navigation receiver to the localizer position. I tracked the VOR inbound to the field. When we saw the approach lights for 29L, we realized the error and corrected. Aircraft was landed with no further incident. ATC said nothing during the approach and as far as I know there was no conflict. Navigation receiver as 2 heads. When you change frequencys you have to switch from 1 head to the other. It is very easy to change frequencys but forget to change channels.
