Narrative:
Approximately 8 aircraft in sector. 15020 degree azimuth shift of tonopah radar caused several split targets and erroneous returns. Tracks and beacons moved north by as much as 30 mi. Impossible to use radar for sep. Sector became essentially a non radar situation.

Narrative: APPROX 8 ACFT IN SECTOR. 15020 DEG AZIMUTH SHIFT OF TONOPAH RADAR CAUSED SEVERAL SPLIT TARGETS AND ERRONEOUS RETURNS. TRACKS AND BEACONS MOVED N BY AS MUCH AS 30 MI. IMPOSSIBLE TO USE RADAR FOR SEP. SECTOR BECAME ESSENTIALLY A NON RADAR SITUATION.
