Narrative:
Strong shaking nose on takeoff once wheels off ground until gear retraction. No shimmy on ground during taxi takeoff or landing roll. Considered turning around and landing at ZZZ but once plane was cleaned up; the vibration went away. I decided since the plane was behaving normally; I would do the hour flight; burn off fuel; and go to destination. My plan was; if I had anything odd occur on gear deployment; I would go to ZZZ1 for a big runway. I slowed the plane prior to deployment to make deployment as easy as possible. No problems noted. Landed as normal. Maintenance said they'd probably get a ferry permit to move the plane. I [advised that I] didn't want to do ferry/ non routine flight operation (nrfo) [for] safety issue. Not the usual phenomenon shimmy. Not safe. [The chief pilot] told me 'they'd keep an eye out for it'. Told [chief pilot] about shake etc. Planned maintenance on our phone app showed changing tire. Changing tire not sufficient. Maintenance got to do a 'vibration check' too. More maintenance time. I said the vibration check should satisfy my concern. I assumed that it would be the same checks as were done [previously] to the plane for the same problem. [Soon after was notified by maintenance] 1. Write-up corrective action covered tire replacement only; not 'vibration inspection' as promised. 2. Previous write-up inspection much more thorough. Up on jacks; cycled; serviced hydraulics; etc. 3. If some inspection was done; it was not documented in my aircraft log. We've received many memos stating to document everything. 4. I made myself clear the prior day repeatedly that this was a safety concern and I wouldn't take the plane without a thorough inspection. I wouldn't fly it for safety concerns.[maintenance] explained everything again. [Company] said 'maintenance followed decision tree. It is documented'. 'Found tire to have excessive spin; replaced tire.' they did not test for structural problems or do any gear cycles; fluid service; inspection; etc. As was done on previous write-up. [Company] emailed me copy of that paperwork to me but said I couldn't put a copy in my aircraft log book. Even though company has recently sent memos saying to document any maintenance. Supposed to document everything. No exceptions. I said I'd review the work document and think about it. [Chief pilot] was very clear and also said that it was ok to decline the flight for safety concerns. Explained again. Said no structural checks done; just nose wheel assembly swap for excess spin up. He was going to call around. Told him I'm refusing plane for safety concern. Said he would try to see if nrfo crew would work and to fill out as soon as possible and he'd get back. Called back and was told they were going to put a nrfo crew on it and we'd probably airline to another plane. Got call from scheduling? Saying we had a trip. I said plane wasn't available and [chief pilot] is aware.my write-up corrective action only stated the nose wheel assembly was removed and replaced. If a pilot reported a hard landing some sort of checks would be performed. I feel that with this strong vibration; some checks ought to be performed.

Title: Embraer 505 Captain reported excessive vibration from the nose landing gear until gear retraction.
