Originally asked for an IFR clearance; did not receive; then asked for practice approach. Got mixed up while on vectors for ILS approach from southeast to runway 35 into kftg. Asked for bravo clearance but coms were acting up. Flew into the denver class B airspace at 9;500 feet about 25 southeast of denver VOR without permission.

Narrative: Originally asked for an IFR clearance; did not receive; then asked for practice approach. Got mixed up while on vectors for ILS approach from southeast to runway 35 into KFTG.
