Narrative:
While conducting a day time visual approach into the airport at approximately 3500 feet I received a terrain egpws warning. We had briefed the prior warnings on the airport company page and there appeared to be ample clearance between the rising terrain and our altitude. The visual glide path indicator on the pfd was showing us above the glide path which I verified with the radar altimeter. I leveled the aircraft and the warning extinguished. The tower called at the same time and asked if we could see the terrain for he had a low attitude alert. We said we did and no further incident occurred. Descending below published step downs causing low altitude warnings even though in visual conditions. Follow published step downs to avoid low altitude warnings.
